"Wild bathing & immersion in nature has helped me build  resilience to cope with many life challenges as well as developing a much stronger immune system" - Jo

"I love to share my passion and life changing experiences. Wild bathing can encompass any soul and we want to break down barriers to let anyone access cold water and wild nature at a basic level. My experience & qualifications with first aid & water rescue skills means I can provide a safe experience for others in open water.  I love adventures & creating experiences to connect to nature and bring out my inner wild warrior." - Jo

"Wild bathing has helped me feel safer & more confident in the sea & has given me a mental & physical boost. Once a week at least feels like a reset. I never go out of my depth but I enjoy the cold water experience and being in the sea for all the benefits it brings.

Jo has helped encourage me into the sea & we are both very keen on nature & how it can heal & ground us.

We are both looking forward to meeting new people & providing them with the experience we have around our shores" - LJ

EVERYDAY  IS AN ADVENTURE

Audrey Thomson joins her sister Joanne MacLean as part of the Wild Bathing family. Not only is Audrey a talented paddle sport instructor, but she’s also an underwater photographer with a stunning background in landscape photography.

Her work has been showcased at the Cannes Film Festival, with images featured before the screening of Mrs. Brown starring Judi Dench and Billy Connolly. Audrey’s photos have graced Arran Brewery labels, appeared in multiple exhibitions, and even caught the eye of Scotland’s First Minister, who chose one of her images for a Christmas card. Audrey brings over 20 years of experience in additional support needs, pupil support, and well-being, with a postgrad in Support for Learning and a Master’s in Advanced Professional Studies specialising in behaviour.

Her background in counselling, group work, and nurturing health & well-being is a perfect fit for Wild Bathing’s mission. Now with her open water safety and outdoor first aid certifications, Audrey will lead retreats, offer sit-on kayak experiences, and contribute to our magical wood-fired sauna adventures.
